Source Control is hard to Learn
Throughout the first sprint, our setup build, we had to learn a new source control application called Perforce. We were taught some basics about it, but we kept running into issues. Some of them were on us due to our team being beginners on this, so moving data around was very slow because of downloaded assets we are going to use accumulated to over 20 GB. Even after that, there were times where we would update something, but the update wouldn't show to anyone else so we had to redo things a lot and reupload the changes.
We also ran into those problems a lot because we didn't have much time to work in our first sprint and most of the time taken was people downloading or uploading data. Now that we are going to have more time, we can take our time to learn more about Perforce to efficently use it.
Unfortunatly, we were unable to make a functional build because for some reason when I try to compile the game, after an hour of waiting, I get errors saying its an Unknown Cook Failure. I was awake for over 20 hours when I was trying to make a build, so I didn't have the energy left to look into it. It will be looked into and hopefully fixed by next week.
