Detecting Player Actions - Jonathan Kohl
One piece of functionality that proved to be moderately challenging was the implementation of the Ai being able to detect player action. This took nearly a day of work to get accomplished. A major factor that made this more difficult was the fact that edits needed to be made to the player and at one point in the game manager. Due to those scripts not being mine, it was vital for me to coordinate with my teammates to get these required features implemented. Luckly Luna and Whitman were eager to help and quickly gave me the tools that I needed to implement actions based on player input. Another thing that needed time to become more better accustomed was the behavior tree and how to best place nodes and use decorators to gain the desired effect. After much trial and error, I was able to get my AI working exactly as I was intending for this milestone. Through constant research and close communication with my team this difficult task was attainable prior to the deadline.
